Located in Fengwan Bridge, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, Junsheng Painting Academy is an art research institute integrating sand painting research, exhibition and exchange, which was invested and built in 1999 by Mr. Li Junsheng, the famous young Tujia painter founder of sand and stone painting, in order to promote and publicize the art of sand and stone painting. In 2004, the Academy successfully declared the national AA level tourist attractions to the National Tourism Administration.
In the four-floor exhibition hall of 3,000 square meters, there are a series of art works based on sand and stone paintings on display, which make people feel visually affected, shock the soul, make you nostalgic and marvel at the artistic charm of sand and stone paintings! Thus it has also become a rare cultural landscape in Zhangjiajie City.
Junsheng sand and stone painting is a new type of art with natural sand, stone and plants as materials. It breaks through traditional painting materials, and is rooted in the fertile soil of national art, absorbing other categories, expressing nature with natural materials, and using objects to express objects, which is more direct, more vivid and rich in visual impact and artistic appeal.
1963年出生于张家界，砂石画创始人，中国美术客协会会员，享受国务院特殊津贴专家。在中国美术馆、澳门、法国、美国、沙特等地举办过展览，中央电视台、谷湾电视台、香港电视台、人民日报、中外文化交济书刊等国内外新闻媒体对李军声和他的砂石画做过多次专题报道，作品被选编入《中国油画》、《中国单术》、《当代美术》、《装饰杂志》等多部专业典籍。
军声砂石画具有中国画的神韵，水彩画的清新，油画的凝重，工艺画的精巧，又有半浮雕的立体感，可谓是融汇众家之长，形成了自己的艺术风格，并独树一帜于画坛。
